About
As a kid growing up, I can distinctly remember thinking there was no way America would be able to survive the ’60s as the country was nearly torn apart by civil unrest, political assassinations, and a war that went from being a military action fought against a foreign enemy to one waged at our universities. Somehow we did survive, but as the ’70s wore on, you could see that the political landscape had gone to seed, and was looking pretty dreary. When my first presidential election arrived, so did Ronald Reagan, and I thought this is what all republicans were like – patriots who believed in personal liberty and responsibility, low taxes, and small government – I was in!
Fast forward nearly 30 years, and one politician is just like the next. Party affiliations serve little more than to decide whether you will take part in the primaries or not. Somehow through this wasteland of political corruption we have to wade through the garbage of what everyone “knows”, and somehow find the truth.
